This role focuses on the scheduling, communication, and administrative processes that drive our repair operations. The detail-oriented and organized Service Repair Coordinator ensures smooth workflow and customer satisfaction by effectively managing service orders from initiation to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding repair services.
- Gather repair requests, provide service estimates, and communicate timelines.
- Keep customers updated on repair progress and resolve any service-related inquiries.
- Schedule and Workflow Management:
- Procurement management for all repair jobs and service engagements.
- Prioritize repair jobs based on urgency and customer needs.
- Coordinate with the operations team to ensure timely parts availability.
- Administrative Duties:
- Create and manage service orders, repair logs, and documentation.
- Ensure accuracy of repair quotes and invoices.
- Maintain records of warranties, service contracts, and customer communication.
- Collaboration:
- Liaise with technicians to gather insights on repair progress and challenges.
- Work with the operations teams to track and expedite necessary parts.
- Provide feedback to improve service processes and customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associates degree in business or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in a service coordination, customer service, or administrative role, preferably in an industrial or technical environment.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and repair/service management software. Odoo preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic motors or industrial rotating equipment (preferred).

Work Environment:
This role works mostly in an office with a desk but requires walking to various work areas throughout the repair shop.
Schedule:
Full-time. Overtime may be required based on workload.
